Protection:
Short-circuit protection: While the electric current is short-circuit, it will interrupt current output;

Temperature control protection: It can monitor the temperature of the IC and battery, if the temperature of IC is higher than 85 degree or the battery temperature is higher than 55 degrees, it will stop working;
Low voltage protection: The device will automatically turn off if the battery power is lower than 3.3V;
Over-charge protection: If any one of the battery is more than 4.2V, it will stop charging;
Overload protection: When the device is overloaded and exceeds the limitation, the system will automatically stop working;
If the battery power is too low to support the current output, it will automatically lower the wattage and show "low voltage".
Overtime protection: If one puff lasts over the preset time, it will automatically stop working

The best VW/TC I've ever had!
This thing hits instantly in Power mode with very little ramp up time, very close to a mechanical mod!
Temp control is spot-on and simple to use.
Everything about this is well thought out making it the easiest to use variable wattage or temperature control device I've owned so far.
The only "con" I have with it have to do with using the on-board charging but since it's built to take dual 18650 batteries that can be charged externally, it's not all THAT important.
First is that it can't be used in "Pass Through" charging mode but that's not possible with a dual battery setup anyway. Second, the charging and data Micro-USB connection is on the bottom of the mod which means one pretty much has to lay it down on it's front or back to use the charging/data port. But as I mentioned, these are only very minor issues which contribute to making this the best device of its kind that I've ever used!
